We are now hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) -Long-Term Care

Duties :

Administers nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse in a long-term care environment.

Participates in the delivery and evaluation of patient care.

Ensures the health, comfort, and safety of patients according to facility guidelines.

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Performs a variety of tasks.

Works under general supervision.

A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Qualifications

Ideal candidate must be a caring individual dedicated to providing high quality care to residents in the care of our facility. Requires a high school diploma and certification as a licensed practical nurse. Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a LPN in the state where practicing or eligible for reciprocity - New Mexico license. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English Language Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required. Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition. Must be CPR certified
