JOB DESCRIPTION:

UPS Freight, a leader in the trucking industry, is currently seeking an experienced (min. 5 years) Business Development Manager in our Truckload Division. This position supports revenue growth and maximizes profitability for UPS Freight Truckload by generating new business and managing existing customer accounts. He/she will focus on Truckload's product mix of Dedicated Contract Carriage, Dedicated Capacity, Transactional Truckload, Truckload Brokerage, and Martrac.

A Business Development Manager in Truckload will:   

• Develop new Truckload business

• Manage and cultivate existing Truckload accounts and provide customer support

• Create Truckload account strategies and develop customer proposals

• Manage relationships and promote Truckload products internally

• Report sales activities and maintain competitive knowledge

College degree is preferred.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• High school diploma or equivalent

• U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.

• Minimum 5 years experience with Truckload Brokerage and/or Dedicated Contract Carriage

OTHER CRITERIA:
