Pediatric Intensive Care - PICU Nurse - (PICU RN)
StartDate: 03/29/2018Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $29.00 - 32.00

The PICU department is a 29-bed unit located in the Children's Hospital of Nevada. The Children's Hospital of Nevada (CHN) opened in Jan 2010 and is the only Level II Pediatric Trauma Center in Nevada. CHN is the only hospital in Nevada staffed around the clock with in-hospital, Board Certified Pediatric Critical Care and Emergency Medicine Physicians. CHN is located in the Trauma Center at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada. Pyxis medication administration and Care Fusion for lab draws. Will be floated to pediatric unit if PICU census is down.

Required Qualifications
Years of Experience: 2. 1. 2 years PICU experience
UMC is now requiring two references (supervisor or peer) within the past year in order to be submitted.
NV license
Ability to float to NICU and PEDS
Ability to float to NICU and PEDS
NV state Lic PENDING OK, willing to obtain by SD, note in selling points

Preferred Qualifications
NRP (preferred)
