Suites Greeter - Part time/Seasonal
We are having a job fair on Monday, August 7 from 10:00 to 6:00 in the Racing Lobby.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Greet incoming guests with a pleasant demeanor.
- Give directions to guests and ensure they know where their party is located.
- Direct guests to the Club Remington Express booth for guests service related questions.
- Keep count of the number of incoming guests entering the event space for attendance records.
- Review the Weekly Event Sheet to determine how many stickers and what color they should be for each group daily.
- Administrative duties in the sales office will include; filing, running credit card payments, answering phones, data entry.
- Job requires work most work during nights, weekends and occasional afternoons; as well as some holidays; including but not limited to Memorial Day, Labor Day, New Year’s Eve.
- Job requires extensive standing and some sitting.

The employee may be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve issues with extremely irate or difficult guests or staff members. The noise level in the work environment varies from light to moderate. May be in close proximity to horses.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be able to work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel.
- Strong written and oral communication skills required.
- Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
