Delivery Driver

As a Delivery Driver, you are responsible for the safe delivery and restocking of our products to retail stores and/or wholesale distribution locations by operating either a refrigerated box truck (Class B) or semi-tractor-trailer rig (Class A). Delivery routes are local and regional, and you are home every night.

A Delivery Driver's day typically involves a combination of:

•    Driving a company truck on an established route 

•    Loading, unloading, and delivering products to customer locations, such as grocery stores, convenience stores, schools, public institutions and more

• Stock, set up, and stage merchandise and sales promotion displays at each location

•    Provide promotional material to customers

•    Verify the correct shipment counts, acceptable condition of product, and resolve any discrepancies

•    Collect empty containers, rejected or unsold merchandise and return items to the manufacturing plant.

•    Complete a daily inventory, orders received, delivery invoices, and proof of delivery documentation at the end of your delivery day

As a member of the team, these are important things for you to consider:

•    Delivering dairy products requires working in hot and cold climates, both indoors and outdoors and on refrigerated trucks

•    To work efficiently, you'll need to be able to stand frequently, walk, kneel, reach for items up high, climb ladders, pull heavy items, and bend over to lift product (routinely over 60 pounds) and push or pull heavy items (up to 300 pounds) with a hand-held device 

•   Some overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts are required for these roles


• Here's what you need:

o    Valid Class A commercial driver's license OR

o    Valid Class B commercial driver's license (with Air Brake endorsement) 

Together with:

o    Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate 

o    High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Here's what makes you awesome:

o    Six (6) months (or more) experience driving Class A or Class B commercial vehicles

o    Experience delivering product to customers with a track record of excellent customer service
