Weare currently recruiting for a Health Insurance Resource Manager to join ourgrowing company.Our Health InsuranceResource Managers work within the community setting and are responsible fordeveloping and executing community based marketing and sales plans to achieve regionbased enrollment goals.
Positionavailable for the Baltimore , Washington DC/Northern VA communities located in Parkvilleand Catonsville Maryland, Silver Spring Maryland and Fairfax/Ashburn Virginialocations.This position is salariedplus commission based.EricksonAdvantage is a United Healthcare Medicare Advantage plan.

The HealthInsurance Resource Manager (HIRM) is the professional insurance resource toCommunity residents and their families on matters pertaining to the EricksonAdvantage Health Plan and/or insurance matters in general.The Health Insurance Resource Manager (HIRM)serves as the primary health insurance liaison to the Community Executive andLeadership Team.
ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following.Other duties may be assigned.
EricksonAdvantage Health Plan Sales and Marketing Responsibilities (70%) 5
1.In response to resident and/or family member requestsconcerning the Erickson Advantage (EA) Health Plan, the HIRM will reviewemployer group coverage to aid the resident and/or family member to betterunderstand their benefits. (10%) 5
2.It effectively and compliantly carry out thisresponsibility, the HIRM will be knowledgeable of all applicable CMSregulations and guidelines specific Medicare Advantage Plans. (10%) 5
3.The HIRM will create sales events intended toallow new and existing Erickson residents to make sound choices about theirhealth care insurance coverage needs. (5%) 5
4.The HIRM will develop a base for long-termsources of clients by referral; self-generating leads and/or taking leads. (5%) 5
5.During Medicare Advantage Plan Open Enrollmentand throughout the year, assists residents in evaluating their employersponsored or other supplemental insurance options.Responsible for meeting or exceeding annualenrollment goals . (45%) 5
6.In response to resident and/or family memberrequests concerning long-term care (LTC) insurance, the HIRM will assistresidents in understanding existing LTC coverage. (2%) 3
7.The HIRM is responsible for conducting EAspecific marketing activities utilizing CMS approved marketing materials. (3%)5
8.The HIRM will complete all management requiredreports pertaining to prospect tracking and reporting. (3%) 5
9.The HIRM will use best efforts to service andretain EA Health Plan members.This willbe accomplished by providing prompt service, i.e., responding to generalbenefit questions; andresolving inboundquestions and concerns (in-person; telephonic or electronic) in a timelymanner.(10%)5
10.The HIRM will provide feedback and escalations tosenior management regarding necessary member care or coverage issues. (5%) 5
Non-Erickson Advantage Community (Staff)Participation (30%) 5
1.The HIRM will be expected to fully participate inCommunity resident prospecting events. Participation would include, but not be limited to helping to registerprospective new residents; conducting tours; and answering questions aboutCommunity activities and amenities. (10%) 5
2.The HIRM will be available to answergeneral/non-specific insurance questions pertaining to Medical Centerutilization as well as skilled nursing facility; rehab and ancillary service(s)access. (10%)5
3.Participation in Community sponsored eventsintended to reach out to prospective new residents will occur during core hoursas well as evenings and weekends. (10%)5
4.Community sponsored events would include but notbe limited to flu shot clinics; blood pressure clinics; and resident celebrationsof holidays or special events. (10%)5
5.HIRM participation in Community activities wouldnot take place for the intended purpose of marketing the Erickson AdvantageHealth Plan.(10%) 5

Strong organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficientin the use of all current Microsoft Office applications.
Collegegraduate preferred or equivalent years of relevant work experience to be usedin substitution.
Salesand/or marketing experience to Medicare eligible markets is preferred.
In addition to English,fluency in additional languages is a plus.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:
Health license to besecured within ninety (90) days of employment.:
