The purpose of this job is to provide assistance by phone for Drivers in need of emergency roadside assistance, and to coordinate repair resources required for safe and timely resolutions.

This position will require someone with:

* High school diploma or equivalent certificate required
* Experience in transportation logistics or technical knowledge/training in heavy duty mechanics required
* Basic Microsoft Office skills required; intermediate to advanced preferred
* Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment with a sense of urgency and focus
* Strong organization and attention to detail
* Effective problem solving and situation analysis skills
* Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks simultaneously

The basic duties of this position include:

1. Monitor emergency phone line, with a sense of urgency, to assist Drivers with emergency breakdowns
2. Schedule roadside service for efficient and cost effective repairs;arrange towing service when necessary and ensure Driver safety during inclement weather
3. Complete detailed documentation for after-hours repairs and distribute to day shift team members for follow-up
4. Prepare and distribute reports measuring key performance indicators for individual and team performance
5. Assist the Logistics department with Driver requests for purchases on Pilot Flying J fuel cards; override point of service card denials and approve requests when appropriate
6. Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
7. Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
8. Complete other duties as assigned
