Registered Nurse - Outpatient Oncology - (RN-OPOnc)

This outstanding Infusion Center, based in a warm patient environment, is looking for the right Infusion RN to join their team of compassionate and driven health care professionals. This unit provides quality care for patients of all ages with a wide range of acute and/or chronic illnesses. Patients requiring a shorter length of stay for evaluation or testing purposes, as well as those who require surgery are also part of the unit. The role of the oncology nurse (Onc RN) is to provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages of their conditions, but usually focusing on the acute phase. The Onc RN will help patients ranging from post-surgical to near-terminal manage their disease and treatment effectively, and may also be responsible for administering chemotherapy (which requires additional certification).
