This position presents an opportunity to join an elite team of passionate physicians and RN's within the BMT Oncology unit. This unit has the largest BMT unit in the state! As an addition to this elite team, you can expect to work with fully equipped with up-to-date, state of the art equipment. This is a highly regarded facility that welcomes creative and innovative Oncology RN care givers.


The role of the oncology nurse (Onc RN) is to provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages of their conditions, but usually focusing on the acute phase. The Onc RN will help patients ranging from post-surgical to near-terminal manage their disease and treatment effectively, and may also be responsible for administering chemotherapy (which requires additional certification). Oncology nurses may practice in hospitals and outpatient facilities or provide home-based care.
