Intensive Care Nurse - ICU Nurse - (ICU RN)

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center is the only Level 1 Trauma Center, with the only air ambulance service and pediatric intensive care unit, in the state of New Hampshire. Serving a population of 1.9 million, the 396-bed, 225-acre Medical Center has more than 9,000 employees and covers more than 2 million square feet.â€‹
Critical care nurses (CCU RNs) assist in the treatment of acutely ill patients with life-threatening conditions, in settings requiring continuous vigilance, complex assessment, and high-intensity therapies and interventions. Working with the patients and their families, ICU RNs strive to create healing, humane and caring environments while also focusing on patient advocacy, working in settings such as intensive care units and cardiac care units, where patients require complex assessment, high-intensity therapies and interventions, and continuous nursing vigilance.
Current New Hampshire or Compact RN license - Required in hand at time of submission
Minimum 2 years CRITICAL CARE experience - Required
Dialysis/Caring for Dialysis Patient experience - Required (Note experience on profile at upload)
Level I or II Trauma Center experience - Required
Current BLS/AHA and ACLS certifications - Required
Willingness to Float - Required
